FLEXIBLE OPEN LEARNING (FOL)


Flexible Learning is an educational approach on philosophy aimed at removing barriers to education and training.  It is concerned with providing learners with increased choice, convenience, and personalisaton. It provides learners with choices about where, when. and how learning occurs. Flexible learning employs appropriate technology.
 

 
 
Ms. Alison Mead Richardson, Education Specialist, Technical & Vocational Skills Development - Commonwealth of Learning (COL) visited TVET office on Thursday, 15th of May 2014 held in TVET Conference Room and made a presentation of the key to increasing access, quality and efficiency in both formal and non- formal technical and vocational skills development in TVET. The said meeting was attended by the a/Deputy Secretary for TVET and UNESCO, Mr. Godfrey Yerua and Curriculum and Inspection Division's Branch Heads.

 
Acting Assistant Secretaries Ms. Rossa Apelis - CID and Ms. Monica Maluan - OMD respectively,  also attended the presentation.

 
Deputy Secretary for TVET and UNESCO Mr. Godfrey Yerua presented TVET MQA Stature Trohphy to Ms. Alison Mead Richardson, while the acting Assistant Secretary - Curriculum and Inspection Division Mrs. Rossa Apelis handed over a gift.
